This hotel is in prime location to see all the greatest things that Montreal has to offer. McGill University is only one block north, the Eaton Shopping Centre is two blocks away, St Catherine's Street is only a 2 minute walk, and many other attractions are within walking distance.
Pool, fitness room, gift shop, 2 large restaurants, a beautiful lobby with a grand staircase and entry hall, and beautiful views of the city from the hotel rooms. The rooms themselves were the biggest I've ever seen with extrememly large bathrooms, coffee makers, A/C, patios, t.v., playstations, free newspapers etc. Leave a Comment

 | | | | Delta Montreal: Great location...Near everything
| | | | |
Well my room was originally a room normally reserved for handicapped guests (wider hallway, wider doorways, wider floor layout) Unfortunately, the airconditioning system was "kaput" so I was eventually offered a different room. The only room available was a suite on the 22nd floor. (about 60 feet long, with two balconies, four windows, writing desk, sofa, three chairs, coffee table, huge tv armoire, dining/conference table for eight, a wet bar (with sink), a kitchen with home sized refrigerator, microwave, upgraded hotel amenities...) ...so the bed was a murphy bed (folds into an armoire) it was still very comfortable! So I didn't mind the inconvenience of having to change rooms. It was great! Parking was not such a great deal though; $20 CDN per day...oh well. Just went back...didn't get an upgrade...snif! room is still very big...furniture looks like it needs an upgrade or decor renovation....king sized bed was perfect though... Just went back again...this time the shower taps wouldn't stop leaking...starting to think the hotel needs a little bit of TLC. The long wait for elevators is also a bit annoying...hotel seems to be fully booked all the time... Just went back again...this time the air conditionning system was practically useless...
Free access to a computer room with access to two computers and no charge for printing something... very convenient! They have a good sized gym but I was too jetlagged to go. Next time! | | | | Delta Montreal: Delta Montreal Swimming Pool
| | | | |
Just stayed at the Delta and found it to be very comfortable. Above all, the location is excellent. The pool was not dirty, as another reviewer reported. Although I did not swim (I forgot to pack a suit), I did use the fitness room which is adjacent to the pool. It looked just fine - but it IS a saltwater pool. My son would have gone swimming in shorts since he also didn't pack a suit - but spent most of his time in the fitness room. There are also indoor squash courts there. The Hotel is not at all seedy but some rooms are updated, I think, and some aren't. Yes, the faucet in the tub dripped but what is important is that I couldn't hear it - the room was so large and the bathroom was so large and spacious. I don't even know if my son perhaps forgot to completely turn the faucet off. Free newspaper in the morning, good cable tv, nice balcony ( a little 'dinged' in the corner but it's not like you have a party out there..) with a fabulous view, especially at night. Coffeemaker in the room with coffee, comfortable beds. Big spacious windows. Very nice hotel, in my opinion, and near everything. Most importantly, near a subway station. We used the clean, modern subway to go everywhere!
Saltwater indoor pool.

Very Nice hotel. Facilites include a spa and a decent size gym (racquetball court, sauna, treadmills, pool and Jacuzzi). The pool was dirty, people were swimming in trunks and tee-shirts !! We had a signature room on the top floor. The room was pretty big, the king bed was comfortable, the balcony was useless and the painting hanged on the wall was scary. The room was really clean, however, they should change the furniture and upgrade to a flat screen TV in the signature rooms.
The view from the signature club lounge is breathtaking, you can see the St Laurent river and some of the skyline. My girlfriend enjoyed the June Jacobs bath products.
